Funeral Director

The Sunset Funeral Co-operative, based in Margaree Valley, NS, just off the Cabot Trail, is seeking a funeral director for a new venture based on the principles of the co-operative movement established by Fr. Jimmy Tompkins and Dr. Reverend Moses Coady, who were born in Margaree.

This person will plan and conduct all funeral operations from our brand-new facility. Must be able to work independently as well as with a community-based board of directors to help shape and promote this new co-op to its next level of success.

Candidate must be a licensed funeral director in Nova Scotia.
